Eryri - Disability Access Statement
Bron Eryri is a large detached Victorian house which is elevated
from the roadside parking area
Access to the front of the property from the roadside parking is
via a flight of ten steps with a hand rail
Access through the wide front door is via two steps
The are no steps on the ground floor to the dining room/guest
lounge
Access to the first floor bedrooms is via a flight of 13 stairs
with handrail - in keeping with the age of the property the stairs
are best described as steep - the stairs turn through 90 degrees to
access the flat first floor landing
No steps are on the first floor and doors to all bedrooms are
normal size - the en-suite shower rooms are compact and there are no
grab rails to either the toilet or shower
The property has a certified fire system with fire doors to all
rooms, audible alarms and emergency lighting - all landings and
stairs are illuminated 24 hours per day

Phones - as we are located in Snowdonia reception is
problematic depending on location and phone network - guests are
welcome to use our phone for UK calls
Public Transport - nearest rail link is
Betws-y-Coed, buses run to/from Snowdonia and Llandudno from
virtually outside our property
Nearest Town - Betws-y-Coed some six miles
away which has Spar shop, bank with cash machine, post office along
with numerous outdoor & gift shops, cafes & pubs |
